DJ Cassidy has been at the nexus of music, fashion, and nightlife for over half his living years as the go-to deejay for your favorite music impresario, fashion icon, entertainment mogul, cultural trendsetter, and…world leader. When President Obama wanted a deejay for his Inaugurations and fiftieth birthday party at the White House, there’s only one person he called. When Oprah Winfrey celebrated the opening of her school in South Africa on New Years Eve, there’s only one person she called. When Jay Z needed a deejay for his wedding to Beyoncé and a support act for his “Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour” with Justin Timberlake, there’s only one person he called. DJ Cassidy is also called on regularly to perform by Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Naomi Campbell, Anna Wintour and the hottest nightclubs around the globe.
As a producer, DJ Cassidy’s music is the culmination of a lifetime of deejaying around the world, observing people react, and making people move. To produce his first four singles – “Calling All Hearts” feat. Robin Thicke & Jessie J, “Make The World Go Round” feat. R. Kelly, “Future Is Mine” feat. Chromeo & Wale, and “Kill The Lights” feat. Jess Glynne & Alex Newell – Cassidy recruited the legendary musicians behind the worldwide dance hits of the late 1970s and early 1980s to channel their prolific sound. These musicians include Earth Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers, Kool & The Gang, Patrice Rushen, Ray Parker Jr., Wah Wah Watson, and many others. “I’ve taken every party I’ve ever rocked, every record I’ve ever played, every foot I’ve ever moved, and transposed them all into the music I produce,” explains Cassidy. “In my world, every person is welcome, every day is a party, and every night is a celebration.”
